IndoRunners

The largest independent running movement in Indonesia, built on the simple idea of running together.

The Origin

IndoRunners Community

IndoRunners is the largest running community in Indonesia, serving as a massive hub for running enthusiasts nationwide. Founded on December 12, 2009, the group aimed to transform running from a basic exercise into a popular, fun lifestyle choice.[1][2][3]

What began as a group of friends who loved to run evolved into a nationwide phenomenon. The goal was never to create a massive organization, but rather to inspire a healthier lifestyle through a shared, accessible passion.

By utilizing social media and grassroots community organizing, IndoRunners became the catalyst for the running boom in Indonesia. It demonstrated the power of organic community growth and shared purpose.

The Core Co-Founders

The primary group responsible for building and scaling IndoRunners nationwide includes:[1]

  • Reza Puspo: Main founder and prominent figure in the Indonesian running and triathlon scene.
  • Yasha Chatab: Co-founder, prominent community leader, and lifestyle sports commentator.
  • Yomi Wardhana: Co-founder, notably recognized for initiating IndoRunners' charity and social programs like LUAS (Lari Untuk Amal Sosial).
